Assisted Living Concepts (Winkler House), offers a warm, supportive, home for older adults.  The intimate setting offers apartments that feature modern construction ranging in size from studios to two bedrooms with housekeeping; laundry and maintenance services provided. Each residence is equipped with an automatic fire alarm notification, emergency call system, sprinkler system and secured entryways. The extra-wide corridors feature sturdy handrails, and the apartments include a roomy walk-in shower to accommodate a walker or a wheelchair.

Level IV Centers

Our Level IV centers are prepared for most traumatic injuries with general surgeons available around the clock and additional, specially trained support staff on hand.  Like our Level III centers, agreements for referrals and transfer are in place to prevent delay if a higher level of care is required.  Level IV centers include ETMC Carthage, Clarksville, Fairfield, Gilmer, Mt. Vernon, Pittsburg, Quitman and Trinity.

ETMC EMS Ambulance service

The ETMC Regional Trauma System has also established one of the most progressive ambulance providers in the nation - ETMC Emergency Medical Service.  ETMC EMS covers 16,000 square miles and serves 20 East Texas counties with the largest rural not-for-profit ambulance service in Texas.  To assist in dispatching care throughout its service area, ETMC EMS has created a state-of-the-art communications center using satellite global positioning to track the precise location of its ground units at all times.  An EMS membership program offers peace of mind from out-of-pocket ambulance expense for a low annual cost.

Full coverage of emergency transports for members with health insurance.  If no insurance or other third-party insurance is available, the ETMC EMS member is charged a reduced fee (60% of the ETMC EMS standard emergency fee).
