PURSUANT TO THE TEXAS OPEN MEETINGS ACT, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF PANOLA COUNTY, TEXAS WILL BE HELD ON THE 10TH DAY OF MARCH, 2008, IN THE COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM IN THE PANOLA COUNTY COURTHOUSE IN CARTHAGE, TEXAS AT 9:00 O'CLOCK A.M. 5. To approve Road & Bridge requisitions and to approve payment of current Panola County bills as presented on vouchers prepared and submitted by the County Auditor.
6. Presentation and approval of the employment of Sarah Jones as the County Agent in Family and Consumer Sciences for Panola County.
7. To receive report from County Clerk on status of Panola County Salary Grievance Committee for 2008, including acceptance or rejection of nominees previously selected by Commissioners' Court.
8. To discuss and act upon extending the length of Panola County Road #3092 by 1,050 feet.
9. To discuss and act upon appointing Ms. Pat Waldon to replace Mr. John C. Hudson as Democratic Alternate Election Judge for Precinct #0003 (Beckville).
10. To discuss and act upon issuing an Amended Order of Special Election combining the location of polling places for Precincts #0001, #0002, #0027 and #0028 to be the Carthage High School Commons Area.
11. To discuss and act upon adopting Resolution #2008-03 in support of upgrading US 59 to Interstate standards.
12. To discuss and act upon approving a Services Agreement between Panola County and the County Information Resources Agency for county web site services.
13. To discuss and act upon cost estimates from Craig Electric for replacing the existing electrical service at Panola County Exposition Hall.
14. To discuss and act upon approving a Rentals, Service, Use and Optional Purchases Agreement between Tyler Technologies, Inc. and the County of Panola for Data Processing Systems used for Law Enforcement, Judicial, Financial Management, and Court Administration System.
15. To discuss and act upon an increase in salary to $10.72 per hour for James Schuchart, a Truck Driver with the Panola County Road and Bridge Department, Precinct #1, effective March 11, 2008.
16. To discuss and act upon an increase in salary to $12.54 per hour for Glen Alexander, a Truck Driver with the Panola County Road and Bridge Department, Precinct #2, effective March 11, 2008.
