The Whites
The Whites are Grand Ole Opry and TNN favorites whose hits include "You Put the Blue In Me," "If It Aint' love" and "Pins and Needles." This musical family features Buck White and his daughters Sharon White Skaggs and Cheryl White Warren. The Whites came to Nashville in the 70's with Jerry Douglas and introduced Nashville to their unique brand of homespun harmonies. To read more about The Whites, click here.

Mickey Newbury
Mickey Newbury’s songs have been covered by hundreds upon hundreds of artists; over 1,000 covers have been documented. Mickey also recorded 25 albums over 35 years. Though he considered himself a songwriter first and singer second, his own albums are critically acclaimed and highly desired by a very passionate fan base the world over.

Many consider him to be the best of the best. Kris Kristofferson says, “God, I learned more about songwriting from Mickey than I did any other single human being. To me he was a songbird. He comes out with amazing words and music... I’m sure that I never would have written Bobby McGee, Sunday Morning Coming Down... if I had never known Mickey. He was my hero and still is.” To read more about Mickey Newbury, click here.

Buck Owens
Buck OwensBoth as a solo artist and with his band, the Buckaroos, Buck Owens, along with his partner Don Rich, pioneered what has come to be called the Bakersfield sound — a reference to Bakersfield, California, the city Owens called home and from which he drew inspiration for what he preferred to call "American Music". Owens was named the most promising country and western singer of 1960 by Billboard and his Top-10-charting duets with Rose Maddox in 1961 earned them awards as vocal team of the year. "Act Naturally" became Buck Owens and the Buckaroos' first #1 hit. To read more about Buck Owens, click here.
