Debbie Pierce, was named Main Street manager in 2007 after the resignation of Charles Thomas. She has been with the City of Carthage for 17 years, serving as the water and sewer office supervisor, investment officer, 911 addressing coordinator and an accountant. Recently she completed her course of study as a Certified Public Manager through Stephen F. Austin State University. Pierce has been a member of the Main Street Design committee for six years. Pierce, the daughter of Billie McGraw of Carthage and the late Syd McGraw, is married to Bill and they have one daughter, Mandi.
