Info The 14th Annual
Texas Country Music Hall of Fame show will be held Saturday,
August 20, at the TCMHOF Theater. Moe Bandy & Mickey Gilley will be
inducted.
►New
inductees for the 14th Annual
Texas Country Music Hall of Fame have been selected. Texas
musicians Moe Bandy and Mickey Gilley will be the next artists to
receive the honor. The Awards show will be held on August, 20, 2011,
at the TCMHOF Theater.
A presentation will also be made to long-time country DJ from KTFW
Fort Worth, Joe Bielinski, to place him into the Texas DJ Wall of
Fame.
►Panola
College will host the Grammy award-winning
Light Crust Doughboys in the Q.M. Martin Auditorium on
April 5, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Make plans to hear one of the world's top
historical western swing bands. Admission is free.

►The
Texas Country Music Hall of Fame will host auditions for the 2011
John Ritter Tribute Showcase on Saturday, June 25, at the Texas
Country Music Hall of Fame. For a list of rules and an application,
visit the
TCMHOF website. Applications will be accepted until noon on
Saturday, June 25, but it is best to pre-register. Thirty finalists
will be selected and a grand prize winner will be chosen on Friday,
August 19, at the John Ritter Tribute Showcase.
►Panola
County Day in Austin-April 12, 2011--The
Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the transportation to leave from
the Chamber office on Monday, April 11 and will return Tuesday
evening.
We will attend the Texas Association of Business Legislative
Breakfast on Tuesday morning as a sponsor and then visit the House
and Senate before returning home.
If you are interested in going, please call or email the Chamber to
let us know. We will need a count for breakfast tickets and for the
bus.

of Fame and Tex Ritter Museum has been named to the advisory
board for the Texas Music Road Trip Exhibit scheduled to run at the
Bob Bullock State History Museum in Austin from February - September
