The Carthage Fire Department is sponsoring the 2nd Annual 9-11 Walk of Remembrance on Saturday, September 10, 2022. The walk begins at 9:30am at the Panola County Courthouse and will continue down West Panola to the CHS Stadium. Fire Marshal Randy Liedtke says, "Help us honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001." Everyone is welcome to attend.

Once at the stadium, join the First Responders for a 911 Memorial Stair Climb which will simulate the actual distance of First Responders at the World Trade Center on 9-11. "We want to honor the sacrifices of our First Responders and Military Heroes and never forget their sacrifices," says Liedtke.
