The Carthage Main Street Arts Walk of Fame is a Downtown Carthage, Texas tradition celebrating the unique achievements of individuals in the arts. Hailing from Panola County, having spent their formative years here, or significantly contributing to the Carthage and Panola County community, inductees to the Carthage Main Street Arts Walk of Fame are selected for achieving excellence in the arts, in all of its forms. The Arts Walk of Fame celebrates and builds connections with the incredible artistic and creative talents, while inspiring the next generation of artists and creators to follow in their footsteps.

This year's inductees include Debbie Rowe, dance instructor, and Donnie Pitchford, Cartoonist. The induction ceremony will be Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Esquire Theater, 114 W. Sabine Street, Downtown Carthage. Reception begins at 6:00pm and ceremony begins at 7:00pm.

The Fifth Annual Film Festival held at the Esquire Theater in Downtown Carthage will be held on Saturday, February 17. Red carpet begins at 6pm, Showtime at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.   More about the film festival:
